In September of 2005 He took me from behind the steering wheel of an 18-wheeler and stood me up behind the Pulpit at Calvary Bible Church. I continued to drive truck part-time until the Church formally called me as their Pastor in May of 2007. I pursued “official” schooling from Moody Bible Institute through their Distance Learning Program with the goal of achieving an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies by the time I turned 65! By God’s grace and with His help and the help and support of my wife and the Church, I successfully accomplished that goal in the Spring of 2014’!
