Pastor Ken is a self-proclaimed “recovering rebel” who entered the ministry after 30+ years in the secular work-force. His real-life experience gives him the understanding and ability to relate to people from all walks of life, as just a regular guy the Lord has chosen to use to preach God's Word in a manner that is understandable, relevant, and practical. Pastor Ken is accountable to our board of Elders and Deacons.
Ken is married for 50+ years to his bride Mary, and they have three grown and married children; a son and two daughters, and have been blessed with 8 wonderful grandchildren. In September of 2005 He took me from behind the steering wheel of an 18-wheeler and stood me up behind the Pulpit at Calvary Bible Church. I continued to drive truck part-time until the Church formally called me as their Pastor in May of 2007. I pursued “official” schooling from Moody Bible Institute through their Distance Learning Program with the goal of achieving an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies by the time I turned 65! By God’s grace and with His help and the help and support of my wife and the Church, I successfully accomplished that goal in the Spring of 2014’! My preaching reflects the many years of education I received heque.
