...not just in name but in belief and practice, and are not concerned with putting on a show on Sunday mornings, adopting worldly methods or programs to achieve numerical growth, or interested in reinventing the Church. We are{error} unapologetically Christ-centered, conservative, fundamental, dispensational, and evangelistic.
You will probably find us to be a bit old-fashioned, but not legalistic or overly rigid. We use hymnals for the majority of our worship music, love to sing in praise to our great God, and there is a strong emphasis on {error}the reading and preaching of God's Word verse by verse. In addition, we encourage all of our brothers & sisters to spend time in God's Word on a daily basis, and gather weekly for Bible Study, fellowship, and prayer at various times and locations. You will find that our love for God and one another is fresh and new, and many find the atmosphere {error}among us to be warm, friendly, and reminiscent of what Church used to be.
We have found that many people are looking for a church "experience" to satisfy an emotional need in their life, or they look for a church just for what they can get out of it. While God may use those things to draw you to Himself, we maintain that true joy is found in a restored relationship with God through faith in{error} Jesus Christ, first and foremost. That joy is then experienced by growing in God's grace, and by living a holy life in service to Him and others. Changed hearts and changed lives are the focal points of our ministry as we proclaim the love of God to you, and to our lost and dying world.
When we gather together our focus is on the Lord Jesus Christ,{error} the preaching and teaching of God's Word, fellowship, breaking bread together, and prayer. In every way we strive to encourage one another toward spiritual maturity, with a love that results in care for one another as brothers and sisters, recognizing that all who are born again are members of the Body of Christ. As His witnesses in the world, {error}through our words and as we live out this life of faith, we proclaim the truth and power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to rescue sinners, just as He has done for us. In this way we carry out Jesus' Great Commission by seeking to{error} reach the lost and making disciples as we go.
If you have grown weary of churches that seem focused on entertainment, pop-culture, and pop-psychology, or have been wounded by churches that emphasize law keeping and performance, we invite you to come and worship the risen Christ with us! {error}If your desire is to be fed and challenged from the Word of God, then you will be among friends here at Calvary.

Pastor Ken is a self-proclaimed “recovering rebel” who entered the ministry after 30+ years in the secular work-force. His real-life experience gives him the understanding and ability to relate to people from all walks of life, as just a regular guy the Lord has chosen to use to preach God's Word in a manner that is understandable, relevant, and practical. Pastor Ken is accountable to our board of Elders and Deacons. Ken is married for 50+ years to his bride Mary, and they have three grown and married children; a son and two daughters, and have been blessed with 8 wonderful grandchildren.
Ken is a Vietnam Veteran (US Navy) and also served in the{error} Wisconsin National Guard. Ken came to Calvary from a very diversified work background of 30+ years, ranging from general labor to being the Director of Safety and Compliance for a 380 truck Transportation Company. He is a "preachers Kid" who came to a saving knowledge of {error}Jesus Christ when he was about 8 years old in the small town of Moccasin Montana, where his Dad had a small home-based church. Ken says, "I knew the Lord had called me to Ministry while still a pre-teen, but willfully chose to rebel and run from Him and His call on my life. In the mid-80’s I surrendered my life to Him, quit running from Him and ran toward Him instead. I have been actively involved in fundamental churches ever since, and have spent much time in teaching and leadership roles as God continued to train me for the Ministry. In spite of my lack of faith, He somehow worked out the obstacles that I saw and allowed me to become a full-time Pastor." "I like to say that I am a recovering-Rebel, that Jesus isn’t nearly finished working on me, but that I have learned to yield to His molding and shaping rather than resist it. In September of 2005 He took me from behind the steering wheel of an 18-wheeler and stood me up behind the Pulpit at Calvary Bible Church. I continued to drive truck part-time until the Church formally called me as their Pastor in May of 2007. I pursued “official” schooling from Moody Bible Institute through their Distance Learning Program with the goal of achieving an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies by the time I turned 65! By God’s grace and with His help and the help and support of my wife and the Church, I successfully accomplished that goal in the Spring of 2014’! My preaching reflects the many years of education I received{error} at the “School of Hard Knocks” as well as what I learned through Moody’s courses. I echo in amazement the words the apostle Paul said in I Timothy 1:12: “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that He considered me faithful, appointing me to His service." By His grace and in His power{error} I will continue to share His Word and His love to all who gather here at Calvary Bible Church." "I extend a warm welcome to all who are looking for a faithful church to call home, to all who have been newly saved by the power of God through faith in Jesus Christ, and to all who seek to renew their faith and return to their Father. He is the God of second chances, as many of us here at Calvary can testify. I hope you will visit and worship with us soon" Pastor Ken Kramer
